About Us

In 2014, an AB12 Youth Cohort was brought together at VOICES to create recommendations to improve services for transition age foster youth in Sonoma County. Through this process, they generated three key recommendations relating to extended foster care (AB12) access, education, and housing.

The 2018 VOICES Youth Cohort was organized to follow up on the original cohort's recommendations as well as to bring current youth input on foster care changes within the county. In order to address the perplexity of navigating resources in Sonoma County and understanding eligibility of those resources, the cohort built Youth Scoop
