Petaluma Transit is the public bus service for Petaluma. There is limited evening and weekend services, please check the website or Google Maps for the most up-to-date route times.

 

SMART Train

Ages: All - Eligibility: Discounts: Youth (5-18 years of age) passengers with disabilities and seniors (65+) receive a 50 percent discount on SMART by using a discount Clipper card, must get before traveling as they are not available at stations. Sonoma-Marin Area Rail Transit (SMART) is a passenger rail service in Sonoma and Marin counties. SMART’s initial 43 miles of rail corridor includes 10 stations, from the Sonoma County Airport to Downtown San Rafael. SMART uses Clipper, the Bay Area’s all-in-one transit card, for payment. Clipper is also accepted on (and discount clipper cards can be purchased at) Golden Gate Transit, Marin Transit, Petaluma Transit, Santa Rosa CityBus and Sonoma County Transit, as well as all other Bay Area transit agencies.
